Four Lone Jack residents including two children were injured after their vehicle went off a highway in eastern Jackson County on Saturday, Nov. 30.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 74-year-old man was driving his SUV north on Route F just past Colbern Road, when just after 2 p.m., his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence and overturned. He along with a 72-year-old woman and 12-year-old girl in the vehicle, all suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a Kansas City area hospital. Another girl in the car suffered minor injuries and was treated at another area hospital. Troopers say no one in the SUV was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.
