Luther Burden III has made his last catch as a Mizzou Tiger.
The East St Louis native announced via social media Monday, Dec. 2 that he would forgo his senior year of eligibility and declare for next spring’s NFL Draft. Mizzou confirmed Burden’s decision by sharing his post.
The announcement means Burden will opt out of whichever bowl game the 9-3 Tigers are invited to play. His time at Mizzou concludes with the fourth-most catches in program history with 192, with 2263 yards and 21 touchdown catches.
