The Marshall Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Christmas In Marshall” this weekend, welcoming visitors to Santa’s Toyland for a parade, shop crawl, and other activities around the square.

Executive Director Rachel Hayworth says those activities will include carriage rides.

Carriage rides will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Hayworth says the Chamber will keep Santa busy throughout the day.

The parade around the square takes place Saturday evening at 6 p.m., with 45 entries. The Marshall Chamber of Commerce is also sponsoring a shop crawl from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with several participating businesses, and a chili and soup supper from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at First Christian Church. “A Christmas Story” will be this year’s featured Christmas movie, with a showing scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Marshall Cinema.
