The Saline County Holiday is accepting donations until Monday, December 9, and is still in need of several different items.

The project has several collection sites in the city limits, including at Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton’s office and the Salt Fork YMCA. Project organizer Kathy Brooks says there is a high need for gifts for pre-teen and teenage boys.

Volunteers will start setting up at the Martin Community Center on Tuesday and Wednesday to begin organizing the items received prior to the distribution day on Thursday, December 12. Community members can still drop off gifts and food items on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Martin Community Center. Brooks says she enjoys being part of the Holiday Project and seeing the community come together to support those in need during the holidays.

You can view the full list of drop-off locations by visiting the Saline County Holiday Project’s Facebook page.
