Several culvert replacements in Chariton County are among the projects that crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation continue to tackle this week.

Route ZZ southeast of Marceline will close again this week, each day between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., for replacements. Crews remain in the area between Pedan Chapel and Parish roads Monday, Dec. 9 through Thursday, Dec. 12, and are scheduled to begin replacements Friday between Pedan Chapel and Morton roads. Elsewhere in the county, Route W north of Salisbury between Route 129 and Prairie Valley Avenue will be closed Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closures are scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday on Route UU outside Keytesville, with a culvert replacement set for Tuesday between Route 5 and Dooley Ford Road, as well as Wednesday between Dooley Ford Road and O’Bryan Avenue.

Meanwhile, general roadside work is scheduled Monday and Tuesday in Cooper County near the intersection of Route 87 at Jackson Road, as well as Route W east of Fayette in Howard County between County Roads 400 and 402. Both work zones will have one lane of traffic open, with flag crews directing motorists through the zones.
