The Marshall High School Debate Squad attended the Truman high School Speech and Debate Tournament this past weekend, competing against 33 schools.

Brianna Carrillo placed 4th out of 60 entries in Oral Interpretation, and Maya Mackey advanced to the Super Session of Congressional Debate and place 16th overall.

The debate squad will travel to the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education in Kansas City to hear survivor testimonies of the Holocaust on Monday, December 16.
