The City of Moberly will vacate part of a city block to allow the expansion of a local business.

Also last week, the council approved amendments to the city code concerning how a pet’s rabies vaccinations are certified in the city.

Moberly city manager Michael Bugalski notes that the city continues to field proposals for a 0.35 acre lot at the corner of Route 24 and Hurley. Bugalski says the city received some ideas in the past week and the council are considering them.
