Pothole patching and other pavement operations are underway in Johnson County this week as part of routine maintenance by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Crews have reduced lanes along U.S. Route 50 on Monday, Dec. 9 between Routes 23 and D in Knob Noster for pothole patching. Work is expected to conclude around 4 p.m. The roadway will also be down to one lane Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for pavement operations outside the Elm community, between Route W and NW 1601st Road.

Flagging operations for pothole patching are also scheduled along Route 23 on Tuesday and Wednesday north of Knob Noster, between Route CC and NE 175th Road. Route FF will also be down to one lane on Thursday and Friday along the Johnson/Pettis County line.

A pair of roadways will have closures this week for brush cutting operations. Portions of Route VV outside Centerview throughout the week for crews to complete their work, while intermittent lane and shoulder closures are scheduled in Lafayette County along Route D around Odessa.
