(UPDATE at 6:40 a.m., Dec. 11, 2024) Santa Fe R-X Schools have issued a statement concerning the disappearance of 16-year-old Hailey Wilsie, who was last seen leaving the I-70 Conference tournament at Lone Jack High School around 8:15 p.m. Monday. According to Superintendent Derek Lark, surveillance footage supplied by Lone Jack Schools showed Wilsie leaving campus toward the baseball field. Authorities believe Wilsie was picked up by a newer-model, blue crossover-style Nissan. Lark says Wilsie, a sophomore on the girls basketball team, did not properly check out with her coaches or school administration.
(Original Story) A 16-year-old from Alma is currently reported missing.
According to the Lone Jack Police Department, Hailey Wilsie has been reported missing since Monday, December 9.
Wilsie was reportedly last seen around 8:15 p.m. on December 9, 2024 in Lone Jack at a basketball game. The school cameras showed her walking off towards the baseball field. She was seen wearing black leggings, a sage green hoodie and black and blue high top Nikes. She is described to have black hair and dark brown eyes.
