John “J.B.” Marsh, 84, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, December 9, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to family choice. An online guestbook may be signed at www.campbell-lewis.com.

J.B. was born on May 23, 1940, in Marshall, the son of the late Johnie Marsh and Clara E. (Taylor) Marsh. He was a 1958 graduate of Marshall High School and joined the U.S. Army that same year serving until 1961. On October 17, 1959, J.B. married Frances E. “Fran” Wyrick who survives of the home. In 2002, he retired from Phillips & Company after a long career in sales. He then worked part time for Community Bank for 10 years. J.B. had a fond liking for old automobiles, especially corvettes.

Survivors include his wife, Frances, of the home; one son, Jeff Marsh (Carolyn) and granddaughter Leslie Marsh all of Lee’s Summit, MO; one brother, Tom Marsh (Sharon) of rural Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

J.B. was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Laura Ireland, Dora Lee Shannon and Charlene Cummings.
