Lafayette County Presiding Commissioner Harold Hoflander spoke to KMMO News about the recent renovations at the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Lafayette County Sheriff Kerrick Alumbaugh requested the renovations several weeks ago, which were approved by the commission. The goal of the renovations was to give the department more office space to operate. Hoflander says in-house labor was used to convert an old storage room into more office space for the Sheriff’s Office.
Hoflander says the project is about halfway done, but is unsure when exactly everything will be finished.
The project costed between $3,000-$4,000.
