The Carrollton R-VII School Board is gathering for a board retreat Friday, Dec. 13 to lay out the first steps toward potentially asking voters to approve a bond measure in 2026.

Superintendent Dr Tinna Croy says the retreat follows an initial request for qualifications released several weeks ago.

The board had already met Tuesday evening for their monthly meeting. Croy said one item from Tuesday’s agenda featured a donation from Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

The Carrollton School Board also received the results of the district’s annual performance review, which saw Carrollton jump to a score of 84.4 percent. They also approved a memorandum of understanding with the county’s dispatch system, allowing first responders access to the district’s cameras in the event of an emergency.
