Slater Schools’ annual performance report showed a second consecutive increase for the district.

Superintendent Dr Terry Lorenz informed the district’s board of education of the increase during his report at last month’s regular meeting.

Slater posted a 77.3 percent total this year, four points better than last year and 8.5 points better than 2022, when the updated MSIP-6 was piloted. Lorenz says the district has addressed areas of continuous improvement, where the district picked up all but one of the points possible.

Lorenz says he’ll provide a breakdown of the district’s assessment and progress at future school board meetings.
