
Robert Earl “Bob” Grandstaff, 79, of Napton, MO, died Monday, December 16, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow and Rev. Randy Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Zoar Baptist Cemetery in Napton. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Born December 10, 1945, in Blue Lick, MO, he was the son of the late Loyal Jack Grandstaff and Elsie Matsler Grandstaff. Bob met Doris Jean McCarney in 1973 and they shared over 50 years of marriage. Doris survives of the home. He lived in Saline County most of his life where he was an owner/operator truck driver and a heavy machinery operator for the Saline County Highway Department. Bob was a member of Zoar Baptist Church in Napton.
In addition to his wife, Doris; he is survived by three children: Missie Phillips (James) of Marshall, Earl Grandstaff (Lisa) of Marshall; Justin Grandstaff (Rebecca) of Brookfield; four children from a previous marriage: Ricky Grandstaff and Peggy Gunderson (Mark), both of Moscow, KS, Rachel Grandstaff of Ulysses, KS and Darcie Grandstaff of Moscow, KS; numerous grandchildren, including local grandchildren: Monte Munoz, Victoria Stark, Tiffany Grandstaff, Loyal Grandstaff, Olivia Ebers and Guylah Rose, Dalton Rose, Austyn Davis, Greg Phillips and Christopher Phillips; many great-grandchildren; three brothers: Troy Grandstaff (Pat) of Wichita, KS, Charlie Grandstaff (Carolyn) of Miami and Carl Grandstaff (Joann) of Hoisington, KS; one sister, Melvina McGlocklin (O.D.) of Napton; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and five sisters.
