The Slater School Board spent the first part of their meeting Thursday, Dec. 19 reorganizing their leadership.
Superintendent Doctor Terry Lorenz says the moves come following the resignation of the previous president Jayme England in August.
Lorenz says the board dealt with a pair of bid processes, and discussed the possibility of opening another service to bids next year.
Lorenz says trash collection services will cost up to $570 per month.
Also Thursday night, the Slater School Board continued their overall review of district policies. They gave second reading to Board Policies A through C, dealing with the district’s basics, school board governance, and general school administration. They also gave first reading to Policy D, which concerns the district’s fiscal management. Additionally, the board approved renewing their umbrella insurance policy with MUSIC.
