The Moberly City Council received and considered several bids for three projects during a recent meeting.
The projects include Phase 2 of the Kiwanis Park Project, the Wabash Heights stormwater improvement project, and an improvement project to the Fennel Building.
Three firms put in bids for the Kiwanis Park Project, with the board accepting the $804,830.53 bid from PS Commercial Play for the work.
The council then reviewed four bids for the Wabash Heights stormwater improvement project and accepted the low bid from Brown and Root Industrial Services at $3,147,263.69. The council also accepted the financial assistance agreement with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for ARPA Grant funds for the project.
The last bid the board approved was for work to be done at the Fennel Building Community Center. The council accepted the bid from Five Oaks and Associates in the amount of $624,400. The bid does increase to $710,900 if a complete sprinkler system needs to be installed.
