A Sedalia man sustained serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision just north of the city Sunday, Dec. 22.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 40-year-old man was a passenger in a car heading north on U.S. Route 65 around 3:45, when it and a westbound truck collided at the intersection with Rebar Road. The man was taken to a Columbia hospital. Both drivers had no reported injuries and were wearing their seat belts, according to troopers.
