The City of Sedalia is adjusting their trash collection schedule a second straight week to account for a holiday.

City offices and facilities including the Materials Management Site will close Wednesday, Jan. 1 to mark New Year’s Day. Residents whose trash are normally collected on Tuesday will need to have their carts ready for pickup the morning of Monday, Dec. 30. Residents with Wednesday collection will instead have their collection next week on Tuesday. Those with collection days of Thursday and Friday will have their trash picked up as normal.

This follows Sedalia’s revised trash collection schedule this week, which asked all residents to have their carts ready for pickup Thursday, Dec. 26.
