The Kansas City Chiefs will have a late afternoon kickoff Sunday in the Mile High City, as the Chiefs prepare to wrap up the regular season in Denver.

The NFL set kickoff times for all Week 18 games Sunday, Dec. 29.  The Chiefs, already assured of a first-round bye and home-field advantage for the playoffs, will take on their division rival Broncos who just need to win to punch their ticket to the postseason. Kickoff at Empower Field will be at 3:25 p.m. on Jan. 5, with pregame from 2 p.m. on KMMO-FM 102.9.

The NFL has also scheduled the Miami Dolphins at New York Jets game for 3:25 p.m. from the Meadowlands. Miami needs Kansas City to win in order to enter the playoffs, provided Miami defeat the Jets. Cincinnati needs both Miami and Denver to lose, but their playoff fate may be sealed early, as the Bengals will visit the Steelers on Saturday night. The Steelers will need Baltimore to fall to Cleveland in the Saturday afternoon game to have a chance to snatch the AFC North title and three-seed. Both Pittsburgh and Baltimore are already in the playoffs, while the Bengals need to beat Pittsburgh and hope for the Chiefs and Jets to both post wins.

The final game of the regular season Sunday night will be the battle for the top seed in the NFC, when Minnesota visit Detroit.
