
The Salisbury R-IV Board of Education turned the calendar to 2025 with a number of actions during their meeting Dec. 18.
According to minutes from the meeting, the board accepted as presented the district’s course descriptions for the 2025-26 school year. The board also agreed to renew a certificate of deposit at a fixed rate for the next year. In executive session, Salisbury board members accepted the resignation of paraprofessional Colbie Sawyer at the end of the semester, and the retirement notice of high school social studies teacher Amy Swallow at the end of the school year. The board then voted to offer Katelyn Harmon the opening as an administrative assistant in the central office.
In other action, board members gave first reading to a slate of policy revisions and received the district’s annual performance report score, which showed Salisbury scoring 90-point-three percent. The Salisbury Board of Education will next meet Jan. 15.
