Ahead of this weekend’s winter storm, the City of Marshall is declaring a snow emergency to take effect Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025 at noon.
Director of Municipal Services Randy Cornine tells KMMO News that residents need to move their cars from the streets, especially the city’s signed emergency snow routes.
Cornine says crews will work two 12-hour shifts to keep roadways plowed. Marshall uses four plow trucks, with two road graders added to help with residential streets.
The city’s snow emergency is presently scheduled to end Monday evening at 5 p.m.
