The City of Marshall is spending Monday, Jan. 6 digging out from the weekend’s snowstorm that dropped ten inches of snow on the city.
City Hall is among the offices closed Monday because of the weather. However, Mayor Vince Lutterbie tells KMMO News that road crews are proceeding on their snow routes, having completed a pass of the city’s main roads. Lutterbie adds that plows are now treating the secondary roads, and should be able to begin addressing residential streets this evening. Trash collection service in Marshall will be delayed by one day.
Marshall Police report not needing to respond to any accidents within the city over the weekend. However, they did report having to tow a pair of vehicles.
