
The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved a contract agreement for IT services during its meeting on Monday, January 6.
After months of research and a bidding process, the board selected InfiniTech Consulting, LLC, to take over Managed Network and IT services for the city. The contract was approved in the amount of $4,534 per month. This contract replaces the current agreement the city has with NetStandard, which expires May 1, 2025.
In other news, filing for the April Municipal Election has concluded and each incumbent is running unopposed on the ballot. Scott Rhoad is running for the seat in Ward 1, Steven Twiggs in Ward 2, Steven Vetter in Ward 3, and Galen Tuley for the unexpired one-year term in Ward 3.
The election date is April 8, 2025.
