We’re wearing snow boots across Missouri today, but in just seven months, many of the 350,000 visitors expected will have their cowboys boots on as they “Step On In” to the 123rd Missouri State Fair.

Fair officials unveiled the theme last week as the calendar turned to 2025. Fair Director Jason Moore credited the fair’s marketing team for creating another theme that he says resonates with the state’s agriculture industry.

This year’s logo shows several icons of the fair, ranging from livestock animals to amusement rides and fair foods, arranged to form the shape of a boot. Moore says work continues to line up entertainment and new features during the fair, as well as construction on the new Michael L Parson Arena that isn’t slated to open until the spring of 2026.

The 123rd Missouri State Fair takes place Aug. 7 through 17 in Sedalia.
