
Raymon Lloyd Jones, 77, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, January 4, 2025, at his home.

Born March 31, 1947, in Iowa, he was the son of the late Frank Lesley Jones and Erma Marie McCombs Jones. Raymon was raised in the Cooper county area and was a graduate of Pilot Grove High School. In August 2006, he married Debora J. Martin who survives of the home. Raymon worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections as a correctional officer for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2012. He also worked for Nash’s Towing for many years. Raymon served his country and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Debora; he is survived by three sons: Les, Robbie and Andy Jones; one daughter, Helen Marie Knight; two stepdaughters, Carrie Rucker and Nicole Matthews; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five brothers: Larry, Daryl, Anthony, A.L. and Richard Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Raymon was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, La Vona Olsen; and one brother, Bill Jones.
