winter-weather-advisory

A winter weather advisory is about to go into effect for residents in Johnson, Cooper, and Pettis County. The advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday.

Mixed precipitation expected during this period. Total snow accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze are possible. Residents should be cautious of slippery road conditions with the extra precipitation, especially during their Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

Drivers should slow down and use caution while traveling. Anyone traveling should check the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Traveler Information Map to check the latest road conditions before driving.
