Sporting Kansas City announced late Tuesday that Mexican striker Alan Pulido would return to Chivas Guadalajara for an undisclosed fee.

Pulido played for the prominent Mexican side for three years before making his way to Kansas City. In five seasons with Sporting, Pulido has recorded 38 goals and 19 assists in 108 matches, ranking ninth on the franchise’s all-time charts for goals scored. Notably, he tallied three assists in Sporting’s sweep of St Louis City SC in the first round of the 2023 MLS Cup playoffs.
