A Bosworth woman was seriously injured in a Carroll County crash on Highway 65 on Thursday, January 9.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when an 85-year-old Bosworth woman ran a stop sign at Route M on Highway 65 and struck a vehicle traveling northbound.

The Bosworth woman was taken to Truman Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Troopers report she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Carrollton Fire and EMS also responded to the scene.
