Carol Adams, 68, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, January 10, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Southside Assembly of God in Marshall with Rev. Cliff Cato and William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  Memorials are suggested to Southside Assembly of God and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born July 23, 1956, in Boonville, she was the daughter of the late Hershel Elmo Campbell and Dora Lou Adams Campbell.  On August 25, 1978, she married Randy Adams who survives of the home.  Carol was truly a cook at heart and loved the friendships she made while she owned and operated Pioneer Café in Marshall.  After closing the restaurant, Carol continued with her passion by cooking at various places in town.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Southside Assembly of God.

In addition to her husband, Randy; she is survived by two daughters, Amanda Larsen of Rogersville and Leigh Doty (Michael) of Republic; two grandchildren, Parker and Mikayla Doty; one brother, Tim Campbell (Brenda) of Boonville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Derek Anthony Doty; one sister, Lula Mae “Punkie” Fornshell; and her father and mother-in-law, Lee and Franny Adams.
