The Pettis County Commission announced an increased financial commitment to the City of Sedalia for the Washington Street Bridge project.

The commission originally pledging $200,000 on March 1, 2024, but has now approved an additional $200,000 to support the bridge’s replacement or repair or the construction of a new bridge, ensuring vital access to the North Side of Sedalia.

The Washington Street Bridge has been recognized as a key priority due to its role in providing essential access for residents, businesses, and emergency services.
