The Norborne R-VIII School District has added four make-up dates to their calendar, including this Monday.

At Monday night’s school board meeting, the board agreed to Supt. Jennifer Courtney’s recommended replacement dates after a pair of snow storms rolled through the area. She tells KMMO News the dates that school will now be in session.

School remains out Monday, Feb. 17 for Presidents’ Day and Tuesday, March 25 for the CLAA Scholar Bowl tournament. Courtney says last week’s snowfall totals in Norborne were significant.

Superintendent Courtney adds that with the spring semester underway, Norborne Schools are ready to utilize virtual instruction should more winter weather prompt a snow day.
