The Marshall Parks and Recreation Department has announced Preston Peper as its newest director.

Tim Rogers and Travis Moritz served as co-interim directors after Chad Unterreiner departed in June 2024.

Peper previously served as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation in Branson, where he managed 300 acres of park land, a municipal aquatics park, and a recreation center.

Peper is a graduate of South Dakota State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. He also has a Masters in Sport Management.
