The Marshall-Saline Development Corporation (MSDC) Board of Directors has approved the promotion of Conner Swift to Director of the MSDC. Swift has been serving as the assistant director since August of 2024.

Swift received his bachelor’s degree from Missouri Valley College and his master’s degree from Lindenwood University.

Past MSDC projects include partnering with the City of Slater to build homes for Northwest Community Services in order to retain jobs in Saline County, as well as partnering with the City of Marshall and ConAgra to utilize grant funding to improve infrastructure. Currently, the MSDC is working on a 99-child care facility in conjunction with the Salt Fork YMCA and establishing a small business incubator for Marshall/Saline County.

Danielle Durham has also been hired to assist Swift with MSDC marketing and outreach. Durham joins MSDC having more than 14 years of experience in marketing & public relations.
