UPDATE: The interviews have been pushed back to February 13 and 14.
The Carrollton R-VII Board of Education is about to take the next step in their process of proposing a levy measure that voters may consider in April 2026.
Supt. Dr Tinna Croy says the board received seven responses to their requests for qualifications, and decided at Tuesday’s school board meeting to go forward with interviewing six firms.
Carrollton’s eyes are set on the April 2026 ballot, as the board learned they won’t have a contested election this April.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, Carrollton’s school board received the annual special services report. They were scheduled to also receive a mid-year update on the district’s A+ program, but the presentation was postponed to their next board meeting scheduled for Feb. 11.
