A civic organization is providing financial support to a new service club at Moberly Middle School.

The board also approved Moberly Schools’ annual secretary of the board report and received a progress update on construction of the high school’s new fieldhouse.

Superintendent Wright also congratulated senior Kloiee Wagner for receiving an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy. The appointment was announced last month by Congressman Sam Graves’ office. Wagner is the latest Moberly student to receive an appointment to West Point, following in the footsteps of the Class of 1910’s General Omar Bradley.
