Budget discussions and consideration of bids for a zero-turn mower are among the items on Carrollton’s Town Council agenda when they meet Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
The council will discuss the city’s budget with city staff, then turn their attention to the municipal utilities budget with Clint Mathis. Also up for discussion are a recent spell of false alarms, and a property the city owns. Three ordinances are up for consideration, including the renewal of a lease for the Carroll County Fair and accepting one of the bids submitted for a zero-turn mower. The Carrollton Town Council did not meet Monday night because of the federal holiday.
Elsewhere, two area school boards are scheduled to meet Wednesday. The Cole Camp R-I board of education will meet at 6 p.m. in the High School Library, where they will receive a construction update from Septagon Construction. The Knob Noster R-VIII school board will also hear the monthly update on construction progress for the new high school and Panther Stadium when they meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the Elementary School Cafeteria. The board will also get a status update on snow and AMI days used, and consider the calendar for the 2025-26 school year.
