A woman from Kansas suffered serious injuries after her pickup went off a Morgan County highway Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 43-year-old woman from Paola was driving south on Route 135 south of Stover when at around 4:45 p.m., her pickup went off the right side of the roadway near Big Buffalo Road and struck a fence and tree. She was flown to a Columbia hospital for treatment of her serious injuries. She was the only person involved in the crash, according to troopers.
