Crews will resume work on improvements to the stormwater system in one Sedalia neighborhood Monday, Jan. 27.

City officials announce that S & A Equipment and Builders will resume work on upgrading the system along South Beacon Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets. The project was delayed from its original start date of last summer because of utility relocation. This is the third of eight stormwater projects Sedalia has scheduled with funds from the American Rescue Plan Act.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway as the project picks back up. Work is expected to take 60 days, though inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could further delay completion of the project.
