Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are also completing several maintenance projects in Cooper and Howard counties this week.

Three projects are underway in Howard County. Sweeping operations have begun along Route 3 from Route 129 in Roanoke to Route 5 north of Fayette. Additional roadside work continues along Route 87 between Routes J and E, as does pothole patching along Route 124 between Route 240 in Fayette and Route Y west of Harrisburg. Work began Tuesday, Jan. 28 on Route Z through western Cooper County.

All four of these work zones will have one lane open for traffic. Crews will flag motorists through the work zone. All work is weather dependent.
