The annual Optimist Oratory Contest was held at Marshall High School recently, with the two local clubs holding their competitions.

For the Mid Day Optimist Club of Marshall, Michelle Lin took first place, Maya Mackey finished in second, and Ivan Lin came in third.

For the Marshall Optimist Club, Jasmine Davis came in first, Madison Zinn in second, and Brianna Carrillo took third.
