
The Sedalia Police Department arrested an area man with an active warrant for parole violation on Thursday, January 30.
According to the department, officers received information on the whereabouts of Ahmad Dupree, who currently has an active warrant, as well as a history of resisting arrest, owning firearms as a felon, and threatening law enforcement. Police executed a search warrant at Dupree’s residence and located methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Dupree was arrested and taken into custody. He has been charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and trafficking drugs in the second degree. Bond has been set at $125,000 cash or surety.
No hearings have been set at this time.
