A one-vehicle crash in Chariton County injured a 20-year-old Sumner man on Friday, January 31.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the vehicle driven by the Sumner man ran off the roadway and struck an embankment while traveling along Highway 139. The driver was taken to a Columbia Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred at 7:42 a.m. in Chariton County.
