The Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra invites the public to attend the third concert of its 62nd season on Sunday, February 16.

The concert will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Harold L. Lickey Auditorium of Bueker Middle School. The featured soloist will be area trumpet performer Chris Farris.

Originally from Moberly, Farris is in his 17th year of teaching band for Columbia Public Schools. Farris will perform Haydn’s famed “Trumpet Concerto in E-flat Major” and a powerful and stirring composition, “The Prayer of Saint Gregory” by Alan Hovhaness.

A meet and greet reception will immediately follow the concert.
