The Concordia Board of Aldermen meeting postponed from Monday night will now take place Thursday, Feb. 6.

The city had cited “unforeseen circumstances” when delaying Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting. The Board will gather at the community center on South Gordon Street at 4:45 p.m. Thursday. One change from Monday’s agenda has been announced: aldermen will consider a new request from Concordia R-II Schools for a waiver from building permit fees to allow construction of additions funded by their recent bond issue. The school district has also made a request for additional street lighting, which aldermen will consider.
