The Moberly City Council accepted a bid to replace the floor covering at the Wastewater Treatment Plant during its meeting on Monday, February 3.

The council received two bids, one from Mid M Flooring in the amount of $32,450, and the other from David L. Wilbers Floor Covering Inc. in the amount of $23,700. After some discussion, the board accepted the low bid from David L. Wilbers Floor Covering for the work.

The council also approved a resolution allowing Renew Tower Construction LLC for conduct emergency repairs on the Moberly Fire Department’s communications antenna and cabling.

The council then approved the appointment of Bronson Kribbs to the Tourism Advisory Commission.
