Ongoing work on a storm water project in Sedalia will cause sporadic closures of a roadway in the city next week.

Public works crews are continuing to improve the storm water system along South Beacon Avenue between 11th and 14th streets. Beginning Monday, Feb. 10, crews will conduct intermittent closures of Beacon to allow heavy equipment and workers to complete the project. Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. The closures are expected throughout the week. The work is weather dependent, and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled.
