Marshall Mayor Vince Lutterbie welcomed seven members of the Saline County Career Center’s FBLA chapter to City Hall on Monday, Feb. 10, presenting the chapter a proclamation marking National FBLA Week.

Chapter president Dianna Escarate received the proclamation on behalf the group’s 46 members. She tells KMMO News about the chapter’s activities.

Escarate says she’s developed an interest in pursing a career in graphic design, as well as several skills in FBLA.

She has this advice for any youth considering membership in FBLA.

The Saline County FBLA chapter recently qualified 14 students for the competition at the State Leadership Conference in Springfield this April. Their adviser is Tracy Crumbaugh.
