3 p.m. UPDATE: The City has announced that parking restrictions along snow routes have been lifted

With the recent snowfall in the area, Sedalia has declared that emergency snow routes will be in effect.

Sedalia crews are actively plowing and treating roadways to ensure safer travel conditions. Snow is expected to continue through this evening, with locally higher snowfall amounts possible. Travelers are encouraged to exercise caution while traveling.

To assist plowing efforts and allow emergency responders to operate efficiently, please refrain from parking along these designated routes. Once plowing operations are complete and snowfall has ceased, the emergency snow route designation will be lifted, and residents may resume parking along these streets.
