The Saline County Commission discussed two different bridge projects during its session on Wednesday, February 12.

Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden spoke about the replacement of 245th Bridge after meeting with representatives from McClure Engineering. She details the timeline for the bridge’s replacement.

Gooden says the bridge will be 24 feet wide and about 82 feet long. The project is expected to be complete by the end of the year.

Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner also reported on the work done at the Melody Avenue bridge. The bridge has been repaired, and a walkthough of the site will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 17. Fenner praised the workers and engineers for completing this project in a timely manner.
