The Marceline City Council has established a method for determining if the dome will go up over the city’s pool in future winters.

City administrator Jesse Wallis says the council approved the formula at the city council meeting Wednesday, Feb. 12.

The council also agreed to take a look at pool fees charged throughout the year.

Also Wednesday night, Marceline’s city council approved the appointment of Jeff Litchenberg to the city’s airport board, and agreed to a consultant agreement for a project at the North Central Missouri Regional Airport to replace the field’s lights. Wallis notes that local costs for the projects are split with the City of Brookfield.
